Snickerdoodle Cookies

Classic light cinnamon flavour that's always a crowd pleaser.

As always we are going to get right into the recipe. No pointless scrolling here!

No rambling just recipes!


Equipment required:

  • kitchen mixer or hand mixer

  • spatula

  • measuring cups

  • baking sheet

  • parchment paper

  • Optional cookie scoop (ice cream scoop)

ingredients:

  • 1 cup - butter (softened)

  • 1 1/2 cup - sugar

  • 2 - large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon - vanilla

  • 1 teaspoon - baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon - salt

  • 2 3/4 cup - flour

FOR ROLLING THE COOKIES IN: 1 cup sugar + 2 tablespoons of cinnamon


DIRECTIONS:


MAKE COOKIE BASE | Kitchen Aid or Handmixer

  1. Whisk attachment | Cream butter until pale and fluffy | about 3 minutes

  2. Add sugar | cream together about 2 minutes

  3. Add eggs one at time | cream together about 1 minute

  4. Add baking soda, salt, and vanilla

  5. Paddle attachment | add flour | mix until just combined

  6. Roll cookie dough into approx. 2" balls

  7. Roll each cookie ball in cinnamon sugar before placing on parchment paper prepared baking pan - do not flatten


BAKE:

350F | 8 - 12 minutes | cookies will be flattened to cookie shape and have slightly brown edges


TIPS:

  • Do not overmix


One batch will make about 12-15 cookies. Enjoy!
