What are you most grateful for?
If you sit down with a pen and notebook can you come up with at least 11 things to be grateful for?
When I started my gratitude journal on Friday July 11, 2020 coming up with even 4 things for the list was a challenge.
I had just broken up with a boyfriend a couple of weeks earlier, in the middle of a global pandemic, and finding a new place to live was turning out to be a mountainous task on top of an already traumatic situation. My businesses had all taken an extreme dive due to COVID 19 ensuring a giant cherry on an already pretty shit sundae. I now found myself sulking in my parents basement as everything I had worked so hard for crumbled. However deep down I knew I still had many things to be thankful for. I knew I needed to focus on the positives to raise my vibration. I knew I needed to do something different than I had ever done in my life. I needed a change BIG TIME!
And this is when my gratitude journal began.
My confidence was at an all time low but I still managed to squeeze out 4 things to be grateful for.
rent free accommodations
my mom as company
amazing clients
access to health care
I wanted to change a lot of things in my life at once but I knew that none of that would be possible if I didn't get my mind in a more positive state. So I sat with my pen and notebook and struggled through the weeks, every day, trying to find things to be grateful for.
Along with the journal I took on many different mantras:
I am confident
I am strong
I am powerful
I am loved
These powerful phrases helped me raise my vibration and start aligning with my higher self.
Along with the mantras, practising gratitude daily has not only raised my personal vibration but has made it easier to go with the flow which has brought abundance and joy into my life that I never knew was possible!
I wouldn't be where I am today without it.
I was able to finally focus my 5 years of entrepreneurial experience into the creation of the Fierce Family and many other projects. I was able to complete the 75 Hard Program and in turn create the 14 Mindset Reset which helps people align their body, mind, and soul to achieve greater personal success and find calm in the chaos.

Starting a gratitude journal WILL fast track you to a more positive outlook and in turn a more positive life. I now limit my entries to 11 per day because I truly feel I could fill up every page.
Today my entries look something like this:
finding my purpose
access to technology
amazing pets
a strong support system
financial independance
a beautiful, safe home
a powerful mind
safety
stability
access to knowledge
inner strength
Which is a vast difference from where I was months ago.
I am now in a detached house all to myself in Airdrie that has a literal white picket fence. I have a giant yard that my pets frolic in freely.
I can full heartedly say we are the happiest we have ever been.
Gratitude is the language of the universe and has many scientifically proven benefits as outlined in this article by Psychology Today:
Opens the door to more relationships
Improves physical fitness
Improves psychological health
Enhances empathy and reduces aggression
Helps improve sleep quality
Improves self esteem
Increases mental strength
Everyone has the ability to practice gratitude but it takes that practice to be able to find the silver linings as an automatic response.
Start with a daily gratitude journal in a separate notebook and express your gratitude either in the morning or before bed. Or both! Try to coming up with at least 11 but if it's not possible just make sure you make an entry.
